The playoffs will remain in the same format for the first round of divisional play, with the top two teams in each division getting a bye and the remaining divisional teams playing a best of three series to determine who advances to the quarter finals.
In the quarter finals, the teams will be seeded one through eight according to points, leading to the semi-finals and championship finals, which are also best of five series.
The annual all-star game has been slated for Sat., Feb. 7. A host site will to be determined at the August meeting.
In other business, the league decided to opt out of participation in the Manitoba Junior League’s Showcase weekend.
