A Morden man wanted in Alberta on other unrelated charges was arrested here last week because of unpaid bills at local businesses. Morden police received a call from Boston Pizza January 19 that two people had run up a bill of over $200 in the lounge then left without paying.

Morden Thunder boys won the GVC Zodiacs Hockey Tournament in Winkler on the weekend with an 3-2 OT win over Stonewall in the final. Morden won all four games to capture the event. The boys defeated Sisler 6-1 and SJR 9-1 in their round robin games.
